ALL ABOUT THE JATON AV-318 5.1-SPEAKER SYSTEM
Jaton's ANV subsidiary spent over six months designing this unique speaker system that delivers performance on par with the $1000 Bose Acoustimass 10 system at a fraction of the price. The AV-318 hooks up to the 5.1 analogue inputs on your receiver or DVD Player. Jaton has been an established player in the computer video card industry for over a decade. Three years ago, they founded a consumer electronics division that has since been responsible for delivery high end quality at extremely reasonable prices.
 The AV-318 incorporates several innovative technologies that are responsible for its reproducing riveting movie sound and an outstanding musical soundstage. Jaton's unique LyraŽ double magnetic core is present in all 6 speakers. Lyra enables the long throw speakers to play the entire dynamic range at a loud volume without audible distortion.
 Most subwoofer/satellite (sub/sat) systems, especially those that come in a "home theater in a box", struggle with today's demanding 5.1 channel soundtracks because the satellite speakers are unable to handle mid-bass and the subwoofer is unable to cope with sustained ultra-low frequencies such as the rumble of a train, or a large explosion. The result is either distortion or worse yet, clipping. With its huge magnets, the AV-318 can handle movie soundtracks that would leave most other sub/sat speaker systems in the dust, even at half the volume.
 Jaton's engineers spent considerable time designing the speaker cabinets. They finally settled on a unique curved shape that eliminates the sharp reflection of sound plaguing traditional sub/sat systems. The enclosure itself is constructed of heavy military grade ABS plastic. The enclosure is designed to fit perfectly on included wall brackets that also double as desk stands. These unique swivel brackets allow you to install the speakers in any position, at any angle in practically any location.
 The AV-318 is available in both 600W and 900W versions. If you have a larger room, we recommend the higher power version. Being a high end system, there are several options that are available to you. The system comes with 82 feet of quality speaker wire. It is precut in lengths of 10,10,12,20,30 feet. Jaton will also custom cut the wire in any lengths you want (up to 82 feet) at no charge. If you want to have your wire custom cut, please mention the lengths you want in the special instructions during checkout. Additional wire is available at $.70 per foot. You can also add banana jacks on your speaker wire at an additional cost of $14.95.
