One-Year
limited warranty for United States and Canada
This
limited warranty applies in the United States and Canada for
all Plasma monitor products manufactured or distributed by
Sampo Corporation of America (Sampo) under the Sampo brand
name. This limited warranty extends to the original purchaser
or any person receiving this product as a gift from the original
purchaser only and is not transferable. Please contact Sampo
or your authorized Sampo reseller for all questions regarding
this limited warranty.
Terms
of the warranty
Sampo warrants the product you have purchased from Sampo or
from an authorized Sampo reseller against defects in materials
or workmanship under normal usage conditions for one calendar
year. This limited warranty commences on the date of purchase
and entitles you to a one-year parts, excluding expendable
parts, and a one-year repair labor warranty. Products sold
and used for commercial applications have a limited ninety
(90) day warranty for all parts and labor. Your sales receipt,
showing the date of purchase is your proof of purchase date.
During the warranty period, Sampo will repair or
replace defective parts with new or, at Sampo's option, serviceable
used parts that are equivalent to new parts in performance.
All exchanged parts and products replaced under this warranty
will become the property of Sampo.
For products (a) sold and used for commercial applications
(b) sold outside of the continental United States, warranty
service is obtained by bringing or shipping your product to
an authorized Sampo service provider. This warranty does not
cover shipping charges, risk of loss during shipment, export
taxes, custom duties and taxes, or any other charges associated
with transportation of the product to and from the repair
facility.
Sampo retains the right to assess all warranty claims and
to determine if damages are covered by the warranty. In case
of a claim that is not covered by the warranty, you will be
contacted to determine whether Sampo should repair the damage
for a fee or whether the product should be returned to you
as received by Sampo.
Limitations
of Remedy
This limited warranty excludes all product(s) that has been
damaged or rendered defective (a) as a result of accident,
misuse, or abuse; (b) by operation outside the usage parameters
stated in the product's User's Guide; (c) by the use of parts
not manufactured or sold by Sampo; (d) by modification of
the product, or (e) as a result of service by anyone other
than an authorized Sampo service provider. Sampo is not responsible
for damages caused by the loss of any programs, data, or removable
storage media.
Sampo is not liable for any damages caused by the product
or the failure of the product to perform, including any lost
profits, lost savings, incidental damages, or consequential
damages. Sampo is not liable for any claim made by a third
party or made by you for a third party. This limitation applies
whether damages are sought, or a claim made, under this warranty
or as a loss claim (including negligence and strict product
liability), a contract claim, or any other claim. This limitation
of liability will be effective even if Sampo or an authorized
representative of Sampo has been advised by you of the possibility
of any such damages. This limitation of liability, however,
will not apply to claims for personal death or injury.

to your users manual to make sure all trouble-shooting procedures
have been reviewed. If you find that service is needed, call

to locate your nearest service facility. For calls outside
the continental US, please call the Sampo customer service
center at (626) 856-3348. You will need to present your bill
of sale or other proof when requested.
