need to include a copy of receipt and a note stating what the problem

What
typically happen is that it'll take about 1 week for us to receive
the shipment and 1 more week for you to receive the product. Total

It's
because you have the DVD player connected through the VCR which activated
macrovision protection. |

is the univeral remote control code for Lasonic? |
The
universal remote control makers have the codes, if we are not listed
in there, it is because they don't have a code that is compatible
with our unit. |

How
do I reset my DVD player? |
Open
the disc tray and leave it open, then use the dvd remote and press
1,2,3,4 and setup twice. This will reset the system to it's original
manufacturer default. To reset for DVD player PDS-1300, first open
tray, then press FF + Random together, finally turn power off. |

Why
is my screen rolling vertically? |
Because
a setting has been changed. Resetting the system will fix the problem. |

come I didn't get a S-video cable? |
Our
system do not come with a S-video cable, but it comes with S-video
output for any customers who wish to use this output instead of a
AV output. |

How
does the screen saver work? |
Use
screen setup and turn on screen saver. The screen saver only appears
if nothing is playing for a long time. |

How
do I get full screen? |
Most
DVD disc comes in widescreen format, that's why there is black bars
on top and bottom. What you can do is use [Zoom] function, but the
picture quality will not be as good. There is no way of getting rid
of it. |

come only two front speakers work and not others? |
You
need to change 2ch output to 5.1ch output on the disc menu, as well
as the DVD player. If you wish to output surround on CD disc, TV,
or VCR, you will need a SUR-1000 that can be purchased from us, please

it possible to hear audio from regular TV programs? |
Yes,
SUR-1000 will be able to do that for you, call us for pricing and

What
does "region err" sign mean? |
Our
DVD player sold in the U.S. are only capable of playing region 1 disc.
If you are trying to play disc from other region, "region err"
will appear. |

is my screen in Black and White? |
Make
sure the AV cord (yellow) is connected to CVBS or the yellow outlet.
If it is, then try resetting the system with FAQ answer # 5. |

connected everything correctly and still no picture or audio? |
Use
your TV remote control and look for [INPUT] button or [TV/VIDEO] or
[TV/VCR] button. This will take you from TV to VIDEO mode. Please
consult your TV manual to confirm. |

do I get rid of the black lines on top and bottom? |
Because
the DVD disc is made in wide screen format. The only possible thing
to do is use [ZOOM] on the remote to get rid of black lines. |
