We recommend you uninstall any other TV tuner product software/drivers before you begin.... you can reinstall them later.
not all TV tuner products are compatible with one another, and this helps to isolate the issues.

Error messages during installation:
If you get an error message during installation, or you having difficulty getting basic functionality from the TV tuner, including Blue Screen, most likely the issue is a driver conflict or incorrect installation of the drivers.
We recommend the following to circumvent this problem:
1. First, do a "System Restore" (Start->Programs->Accessories-> system tools -> System Restore) to a point PRIOR to the initial installation of the TV tuner. This is essential as this will insure you have fully removed the old installation of drivers. Simple "uninstall" will not achieve this.
Then, reinstall the TV tuner in a different PCI/IUSB slot. Since the conflict is usually with the Video/VGA adapter we would recommend that you try a pci slot a far away from the Video/VGA adapter as possible. You may need to even switch the video card slot with the TV tuner to get it working. Make sure to only use the CD for installation, do not download drivers or let windows do a n auto install.
IF this does not work...
2. First, do a "System Restore" (Start->Programs->Accessories-> system tools -> System Restore) to a point PRIOR to the initial installation of the TV tuner. This is essential as this will insure you have fully removed the old installation of drivers. Simple "uninstall" will not achieve this.
Then -- after first making sure to have driver CD or at least a download link -- remove the video card from Device Manager profile.
Second, Reinstall the TV tuner BEFORE the video card (as in step 1). After installing the TV tuner, then install the drivers for the video card.
(you may also want to make sure you have the latest drivers for the video card)
IF this still doesn't work...
3. Repeat the same process with the
Sound Card.

You should at this point see no ! or ? in device manager, and the TV tuner should be able to perform a channel scan in either antenna or cable mode.
IF you are still encountering issues, please email us at http://www.barrel-of-monkeys.com/graphics/services/tecsup.shtml
It would also be helpful to try a 2nd computer before contacting support as this can help isolate the issue to the TV tuner or to a specific computer system.
